Pocono Environmental Education CenterIt all started with a sticker! Niki Jones Agency, Inc. has been Pocono Environmental Education Center’s (PEEC) marketing partner for more than a decade. In 2024, we redesigned their website. In 2025, PEEC requested a sticker design for their gift shop that would engage adults and children alike and give them a visual cue about the center’s mission and work.
Brief of
Design Journey
The sticker design, which centered on a cast of cartoon woodland critters, was so well-received that PEEC decided to incorporate those assets into their overall marketing strategy and materials, such as event flyers, social media posts, and their website. The initial design included a squirrel, raccoon, bear, and skunk sitting around a riverside campfire surrounded by a lush forest.
Rollout to Support Materials
After PEEC wanted to use the characters in more designs, more animals and settings common to the Poconos region were added so that the graphic assets could be used in a wide variety of online and offline publications.
