Oyster bay todayThe Town of Oyster Bay in Long Island, NY required a brand and logo for Oyster Bay Today, a recreational tourism website intended to showcase community events, educate visitors about the many dining, shopping, and recreation opportunities in Oyster Bay, and document the Town’s rich history. As this was a new Town initiative, no brand existed when Niki Jones Agency joined the project.
The Logo
A name like “Oyster Bay,” creates a certain expectation of oyster-related imagery. However, Niki Jones Agency kept its design work original by including the detail of a pearl, highlighting Oyster Bay as a proverbial “pearl” of Long Island.
Color Palette
The color palette for this oceanic community utilizes various shades of blue and contemporary black and gray, as well as yellow and burnt orange for accent.
