project overview
New Jersey Commission on Cancer ResearchNiki Jones Agency and partner firm The Setroc Group produced a statewide integrated marketing campaign for the New Jersey Department of Health, Commission on Cancer Research. Our multilingual campaign utilized digital, print, radio, and social media to inform New Jerseyans about cancer being the second leading cause of death in New Jersey. We also created culturally sensitive materials that to address the racial and ethnic disparities for cancer. Campaign goals included:
- Increasing funding and donations to the NJCCR to fund cancer research in New Jersey
- Educating New Jerseyans about new legislation providing taxpayers with an opportunity to donate to the Childhood Cancer Research Fund when they file their tax returns
- Promoting the sale of automobile “Conquer Cancer” license plates
Brief of
Design Journey
To stand out against typical imagery and messaging associated with childhood cancer, our team developed a colorful, optimistic campaign focused on building hope. We used pops of pink, orange, and blue to guide people through critical information and CTAs, as well as playful imagery of children to remind people that there is hope – and it’s worth donating to grow it.

- 9M+ Impressions
- 77,841 clicks
- 211 Donation Clicks
- 87 License Plate sales
Mobile Design
