Ocean County Health Department

Niki Jones Agency, Inc. was selected by Ocean County Health Department to redesign and develop the County’s Health Department website. We conducted a web audit to determine the best approach to organize and present their services, as well as provide quick access to the most used and needed public health clinics.

Brief of
Design Journey

The County’s new website draws on the colors of their natural landscape and the health industry, incorporating soft blues and navy. Header images used across the site corresponded with the marketing campaign we designed to celebrate their 100 years of public health, educating residents on services available through the Health Department.

After the new website was launched, OCHD Google Analytics showed:

  • 346% increase in new users
  • 32% increase in views
  • 66% decrease in bounce rate
