Port Jervis, NY – Julia Merchant joins the team of writers at Niki Jones Agency in Port Jervis, New York as a fresh new perspective straight from Boston, Massachusetts’ writing and business community. Having grown up in the Tri-State area, Julia moved to Boston to pursue an education in creative writing and publishing and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Emerson College.
Having formerly assisted a prominent upscale restaurant in Harvard Square in their online and print marketing and hosting events, Julia is not only an artist at heart, but has a strong sense of the dedication it takes to make good in a real-world business setting. She has studied writing from both a writer’s and a publishing perspective, and will be an exciting addition to an already growing and flowering agency.
As an adolescent, Julia was a community leader in several youth-oriented artistic programs including Presby Players, the Delaware Valley Drama Club and Odyssey of the Mind.
