Their gift will help purchase equipment to be used on the ambulance and to continue providing much needed emergency services to the local community. The agency has also promised to host a high profile fundraising event on behalf of Port Jervis Ambulance Corporation In 2017.
The ambulance corporation, located on 29 Church Street in Port Jervis, has been serving the community for over 58 years. In 1958, the Corporation was first known as the Port Jervis Lions Volunteer Ambulance Corporation and has since evolved into providing basic life support emergency services to the City of Port Jervis, the Town of Deerpark and the Boro of Matamoras, PA. The Port Jervis Volunteer Ambulance Corporation is staffed 24 hours a day, all year around.
