Good Shepherd Episcopal Church Announces Annual Christmas High Tea

Milford, PA – The Church of the Good Shepherd, located on W. Catharine Street, announces their annual Christmas High Tea to be held on Saturday, December 3, from 10am to 3pm. Last seating will be taken no later then 2:30pm. This celebration is open to the public and is a great way to kick off the holiday season.

The festivity includes an authentic and classic English-styled Christmas Tea, three delightful courses and a wide variety of teas. Attendees can expect a scrumptious selection of breakfast, lunch, and dessert options to sample. This year’s Christmas High Tea menu consists of cranberry and walnut pinwheels, scones with strawberry jam, brie and blackberry pastries, and assorted finger sandwiches. The dessert options are almond crusted lemon bars, Russian tea cake, and cherry snow drop cookies. Vintage tea sets provide hot tea, coffee, or hot chocolate with fresh cream and sugar. Children can choose from a separate menu, including peanut butter sandwiches and snowman cupcakes.

Alongside of the delicious food and beverages, there will also be a craft sale where customers can find unique holiday gifts for those they love. This year we will have a visit from Santa Claus himself, so don’t forget your phones to take a selfie with Santa. There will also be a sale of beautifully arranged poinsettias.

The Christmas Tea has been an Episcopal tradition for centuries, and has taken place at the Church of the Good Shepherd for over 52 years.

Tickets for the event are $15 per person for adults and $5 for children. They can be purchased online at www.goodshepherdmilford.org.
