LACKAWAXEN TWP. – The Niki Jones Agency, a marketing, advertising, and public relations firm, has become the publisher of the newly designed Lackawaxen Townships newsletter, the Lackawaxen Connection and the designer of their new website (www.lackawaxentownshippa.gov).
Lackawaxen Township is home to planned communities, rural living, world renowned resorts, ski areas, the Lackawaxen and Delaware Rivers and residents focused on family, friends and neighbors.
The Board of Supervisor’s are focused on creating a constant conversation with its residents. The Board of Supervisor’s message, along with interesting articles and relevant community policies and updates will be incorporated in the townships new and expanded quarterly newsletter, the Lackawaxen Connection. The Lackawaxen Connection will be the voice of the Township. “I’m thrilled to be working with a Board of Supervisor’s that are committed to include the input of our residents as we create the long term vision of the township. It is very refreshing.” said Township Secretary, Camille James.
“The purpose of the newsletter and website is two-fold,” said Township Supervisor Mike Mancino. “It will provide readers with an easy to use format that will include, the news, events and information they want and make it easier for them to acquire information relevant to their needs. Residents and visitors alike will be able to learn about our community happenings with the click of a button or the turn of a page.”
“Plans for adding a social media platform and other interesting features to the newsletter are in the works. We have chosen the Niki Jones Agency based on their long track record of providing outstanding services and results based marketing.” said Bob Cocchi, Lackawaxen Township Supervisor. “Our goal is to apply marketing tools to help keep Lackawaxen Township modern and engaging while staying informative,” said Niki Jones. “We’re thankful for this opportunity and look forward to producing wonderful material for the community.”
“Many come to see the Roebling Aqueduct, which was designed and erected by John Roebling, who also designed the Brooklyn Bridge,” said Rich Krochta, Lackawaxen Township Supervisor. “Others come to be inspired by writer and fisherman Zane Grey, who wrote many of his works here.”
