Dingmans Ferry, PA- On July 5th through Friday, July 21st, Pike Physical Therapy will host a Tricky Tray at their location for the Hawke and Johnston families. Lonnie Hawke and Mike Johnston, whom have coached together for 4 years at Dingman Delaware Little League, are both stricken with life threatening illnesses. Lonnie has been diagnosed with ALS, Lou Gehrigs disease and Mike with stage 4-kidney cancer.
The Tricky Tray will be available for several weeks to allow people to purchase tickets, as well as drop off donations. 100% of any monies raised will go to these two families and will be used to afford the best medical care available. By donating to the Tricky Tray, you will be helping to support eleven-year-old Lawson and eight year old Jesse Hawke’s Dad, and ten year old Joe Johnston’s Dad. Both Johnston and Hawke, along with their wives, Nancy Johnston and Beth Hawke, have poured their hearts into this community through coaching and volunteering with Little League, USABL travel baseball leagues, and Delaware Valley School District events.
Pike Physical Therapy has been in business for almost 14 years in Dingmans Ferry, PA and has had the privilege of serving thousands of local residents to get back on their feet from debilitating injuries or illnesses. Two of their former patients and friends are both battling potentially terminal illnesses and even though they cannot heal them, they would like to raise money to help their families with the ever-growing medical bills.
